10.06.010 Definitions.

For purposes of this chapter, the following terms, phrases, words, and their derivatives shall have the meanings set forth in this section:
A. “Handheld wireless communication device” is defined in Section 41-6a-1716(1), Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended.
B. “Motor assisted scooter” or “e-scooter” is defined in Section 41-6a-102(39), Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended.
C. “Park” or “parking” means the process or result of stopping, standing, leaving unattended, or abandoning any e-scooter.
D. “Public right-of-way” or “right-of-way” means any public alley, parkway, public transportation path, roadway, street, sidewalk, or trail owned, granted by easement, operated, or controlled by the city. (Ord. 2021-13 § 2 (Att. B))
