A. The city manager shall, with the advice and consent of the mayor and city council, designate and appoint a qualified, professional engineer, registered under Chapter 22 of Title 58 of the Utah Code Annotated, to be the city engineer.

B. The city engineer shall file all drawings and documents submitted to him pertaining to public lands and improvements. Such documents shall be open for public inspection. The city engineer shall keep the records and files in good condition and turn the same over to his successor in office. He shall allow no alteration, mutilation, or changes in any matter or record and shall be held strictly accountable for the same. (Ord. 2013-08 § 1 (Exh. A (part)); Ord. 2/16/2010O-2 § 1 (Exh.
