A. Upon discovering a violation of the Midvale Municipal Code or applicable state codes that does not require a notice of violation an enforcement official shall serve a warning notice, containing the information required in the administrative citation, on the responsible person providing ten days to correct the violation(s).

B. If the violation continues on the eleventh day after the warning notice, an enforcement official shall serve an administrative citation on the responsible person.

C. The administrative citation shall be served in the manner prescribed in Section 7.01.120.

D. The enforcement official shall attempt to obtain the signature of the responsible person on the administrative citation. If the responsible person refuses or fails to sign the administrative citation, such failure or refusal shall not affect the validity of the citation and subsequent proceedings.
