A. Individuals filing as a candidate for mayor pay a fifty dollar filing fee at the time of filing their candidacy with the city recorder. This filing fee is refundable only if it is determined that the person filing is not qualified to be a candidate, or who is found to have improperly filed.

B. Individuals filing as a council district candidate pay a twenty-five dollar filing fee at the time of filing their candidacy with the city recorder.
